Five on Friday: Empty Beauty Products (3)

Today I've got another round-up of my most recently used beauty products! Read on to see my thoughts on these five products.

Mini Reviews of my 5 Most Recently Emptied Beauty Products | kathleenhelen

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Shampoo

This is the best smelling shampoo I have ever used. It also worked really well to help strengthen my hair and keep it full of moisture. I’m so so so disappointed that Herbal Essences has discontinued this product. If it were still readily available (not quite ready to pay $46.90 for it on amazon haha), I would already have it sitting in my shower.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation

This is my go-to foundation for daily coverage. It’s a little on the pricey side, but a small amount goes a long way, so the bottle ends up lasting a lot longer than cheap drugstore foundation I’ve tried. It’s also nice to feel like I’m getting a decent amount of coverage without feeling like I have 10 pounds of makeup on my face. The colour blends in perfectly, and because it’s available in so many shades, there’s a perfect shade for everyone! I’ve already replaced this bottle with a brand new one!

Softsoap Blackberry Sugar Exfoliating Body Wash

This body wash smells so fruity and fresh and absolutely delicious. The jojoba beads in the body wash create the most perfect, affordable exfoliating scrub. Softsoap body wash is my go-to budget-friendly body wash because it works great, lasts a reasonable amount of time, is cheap, and can be quickly picked up at the grocery store. I haven’t repurchased this yet, but I know it will eventually end up back in my shower.

Fresh Rose Face Mask

I love me a good face mask but was actually pretty ambivalent towards this cult classic. I think it was the 2016 Sephora birthday gift, so I’ve had since May 2016. I probably could have gotten one more mask out of what’s left, but since it’s over a year old, I didn’t think slathering it on my face was the best idea. The mask itself was fairly moisturizing, but I think my qualms regarding the product lie in the fact that I’m just not a fan of floral scents, especially roses. I was excited to have the opportunity to try this mask out as a sample, but would not pay for a full tub of it and will, therefore, not be replacing it.

Exact In Vivid Colour Conditioner

I use this conditioner in the place of shaving cream because it works better, smells great, and keeps my skin super soft. Plus, it's cheaper. A new bottle is already in my shower!
